Envelope filters have a reputation for being fiddly - too sensitive in one room, unresponsive in the next, different every time you change bass or adjust your playing. Kinetic's intelligent auto-sensitivity solves this quietly in the background, keeping your sweeps responsive and predictable regardless of input level or playing dynamics, while still rewarding you when you dig in.

Set your base frequency and you're most of the way there. Range is bipolar - sweep it one way for a downward filter, the other for upward, with the depth of the effect scaling as you go. Speed morphs the envelope character from smooth and flowing to snappy and zappy in a single sweep.

If you want to go deeper, Kinetic offers Resonance, Filter Type, Blend and a Smooth control – gives you everything from silky, warm filter movement to tearing, laser-like resonant sweeps. Add an LFO for subtle auto-wah or dubstep wub, or switch to sample & hold for random robot bleeps.
