All the basics are covered - a range of bass-friendly click sounds, all common time signatures and a selection of irregular ones. Set the tempo directly or use Anagram’s global tempo and tap tempo features.

If you’re not sure what bpm the tempo you want is, don’t hunt around the dial – just set the mode to Follow Tempo and play some notes on your bass. Cognate Metro quickly locks onto your tempo. Like tap tempo but using your bass, which is probably in your hands already.

Sharpen up your internal sense of time using Gap mode – progressively removes beats and bars from the click while you count, teaching you to maintain the pulse without the crutch of a constant reference.

Accuracy listens while you play along to the click and tells you what you can’t always hear in the moment – whether you are ahead or behind the beat, and how much.

The result is a tool that works equally well as a straight click track in performance, a pacing aid for taking a song from slow up to tempo, or a structured way to work on the time skills that distinguish a good bassist from a great one.
